I am honored to be the testimonial of Scopigno CUP and in this regard I welcome the opportunity to wish all the participants at the 26th Scopigno Cup Rieti best regards, with the hope that all may honor them in the best ways and the manifestation the memory of a great coach who Manlio Scopigno that succeeded in the enterprise to win the Scudetto with Cagliari Calcio; in a tournament that will award the best in the end.
The Scopigno Rieti Cup is a very prestigious tournament, which annually brings to the fore and puts the best expression of youth football Under-17 European and World, and proof of this is enough to remember the many champions who participated Lahm, Piqué, Bousquets, Torres, De Rossi, Snijdeer, Marchisio, Candreva etc…
In 2011 I had the pleasure to participate and win the Scopigno Cup with Milan as a coach of the Under-17, and it was my first trophy won by the coach that I remember with emotion as well as the reception by the City of Rieti organization and in particular the President’s friend Fabrizio Formichetti.
I am convinced that all players will have fun and entertain the public that will be present in the stands and on Sport Italia, surely I will follow closely.
