ROME – The prestigious institutional setting of the Chamber of Deputies will host, on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:30 AM, the press conference for the official presentation of the 34th edition of the Scopigno Cup Rieti World Football Tournament. The famous international football tournament, reserved for the Under-17 category, will take place this year from August 18 to 21, 2026.
During the event in Rome, in addition to the numerous new features of the 2026 edition, the winners of the prestigious Manlio Scopigno and Felice Pulici National and International Awards for the 2025/2026 football season will be unveiled, assigned by the honor jury chaired by Dino Zoff and Gianni Letta.
High Patronage of the European Parliament
As a testament to the ethical and educational significance of the event, for the seventh consecutive year, the Scopigno Cup has obtained the High Patronage of the European Parliament, granted by the President, the Hon. Roberta Metsola. The tournament will unfold across an interregional circuit touching several cities and territories, combining athletic competition with tourism promotion, conferences, health prevention, and social initiatives:

Top clubs and the showcase of RAI Sport
The 2026 edition will see the top talents from national and international youth academies compete. Among the first major participating top-flight clubs are S.S. Lazio, A.S. Roma, and Cagliari Calcio. To ensure maximum visibility for the future champions of world football, the main matches of the competition will be broadcast live on RAI Sport channels.
