The ASD Scopigno Cup is proud to announce a new and prestigious partnership with the Rome City Institute, one of the leading youth tournaments in Europe and worldwide. Known as the “Tournament of Future Champions,” this unique event represents a model that integrates sport, culture, tourism, health prevention, conferences, and solidarity.
This collaboration was born with a clear goal: to offer young athletes concrete opportunities for personal, academic, and athletic growth. For this reason, the Best Player and the Best Young Promise—an award that will be dedicated to the memory of Nicholas Graziani—will receive a scholarship worth a total of €60,000 to attend the Rome City Institute, the American university in the heart of Rome that combines academic excellence and sports training.
This initiative represents an important step in the shared mission between the ASD Scopigno Cup and the Rome City Institute: to invest in talent and merit, building bridges between the world of European and global youth sports and the American university system.
The scholarship will cover university studies, sports training, and the international experience that characterize the program offered by Rome City Institute, giving students the opportunity to grow as athletes, students, and global citizens.
“Through this partnership with Rome City Institute,” says Fabrizio Formichetti, President of the ASD Scopigno Cup, “we want to give the best young talents not only recognition for their skills on the pitch, but also the tools to build a solid future on and off the pitch. Above all, we remember our Mascot Nicolas Graziani, who passed away prematurely last year.”
“We share with the Scopigno Cup the belief that sport is a powerful vehicle for recognizing merit and creating opportunities. This partnership is a bridge between continents, cultures, and life paths, which can truly change the future of a young talent,” says Stefano Elio Radio, President of Rome City Institute.
