The 33rd Scopigno Cup was won by Atalanta, who defeated Napoli 3-0 in the final thanks to goals from De Sabbata, Heideman, and Cavalleri, in a stadium brimming with enthusiasm and in front of the RaiSport cameras, with commentary by journalist Lucio Michieli.
The Orobici immediately took control of the game, winning it deservedly, despite resistance from a stubborn Napoli side who came close to equalizing before the Nerazzurri doubled their lead.
At the end of the match, the usual awards ceremony was held for the winners and losers, including the women’s edition (Lazio defeated Ascoli and Ternana) and the Special Olympics edition, with Zucchero Filato Viterbo, Polisportiva De Rossi Roma, and New Real Rieti tied.
